Event Description

Vision Australia Library is partnering with the Art Gallery of NSW to hold a free Intergenerational Storytime event for people who are blind or have low vision.

Join us at the gallery for a free intergenerational family event with a tactile gallery tour, art creation workshop and sensory story time event. Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

Participants on the day will take part in an intergenerational sensory story time session, followed by a creative art workshop with all art materials provided. You’ll then move into the Gallery’s garden to explore its collection of maquettes and sculptures.

Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and spaces are limited, so registrations are necessary.

All activities listed above including morning tea, lunch and bus transport is free. All other costs must be covered by individuals.

Who is it for?

This event is open to:

  • Pre-school aged Vision Australia clients who must be accompanied by a parent, grandparent or guardian
