Hi guys, My grandmother has cataracts and has issues seeing dark colour cars. Unfortunately i currently live in Wollongong and she lives in Orange so i can not offer her much assistance. she is waiting for surgery in 3 - 5 months depending on when an opening is available and that worries me as she has issues even reading or writing on her facebook and a much worse time seeing black or dark colour cars and was almost run over 3 times in the last month.

I am just wondering if there is some kind of assistance she can get to help her to get to her Doctors/hospital classes for physical therapy as she is in her 70s and has back issues and does not drive hence having to cross a highway to wait for the bus.

I am trying to convince her to move here and we will find a house with a granny flat or share a house with her however my mother and sister live in orange near her but offer her no support and frankly don't care enough about her that they have not spoken in 5 weeks.
