Equipment Solutions
Vision Australia offers information about a wide range of daily living and computer-based equipment. This includes equipment to assist with activities like cooking, pouring a cup of tea, sewing and handling money.
The opening hours for our Equipment Solutions outlets are 9.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Alternately, you can order online by visiting our Online Shop.
We also demonstrate and sell magnifiers, telescopes, video magnifiers and closed circuit television systems that help with reading and writing. A range of electronic braille devices, screen magnification and screen reader software can be trialled and solutions recommended to meet each individual's needs. This service is by appointment only.

Perkins Brailler repair service
Vision Australia provides a Perkins Brailler repair service by a qualified technician. Cost of brailler repairs is $38.50 (incl GST) per hour labour plus parts. For more information, please call 1300 84 74 66.
Vision Australia Texpo and Open Day
Each year, Vision Australia holds Texpo, an event to showcase the latest technology and services for people who are blind or have low vision.
The event features displays from a diverse range of technology suppliers, service providers and the host of Vision Australia services with specialist staff on hand to answer your questions.
