Community language announcement
Did you know that the library also has titles in French, Russian, Polish, German and Hindi?
The community language collection continues to grow in the DAISY format and we are also looking for volunteer narrators.
So if you have a friend who speaks Spanish, Greek or Chinese and would like to be a narrator we would love to hear from them.

Important message to users of the PTX DAISY Player
The Library has recently received feedback from a number of clients regarding issues with the battery in the PTX DAISY player.
We are dealing with the supplier regarding this problem and assure all that they and Vision Australia Information Library Service is treating this matter with high importance.
A firmware upgrade will be available over the next few weeks.
In the meantime it seems most people will be able to leave the machine on a long charge and continue to use the player. In a small number of cases the machine does not respond. In this case please send back to the library for immediate replacement.
The library apologises for any inconvenience and thanks you for your patience.
