Maryanne Diamond declared President of the World Blind Union
Vision Australia is thrilled to announce that Maryanne Diamond has been declared President of the World Blind Union for the next four years.
The objective of the World Blind Union and its member organisations is to represent the interests of blind and partially sighted people, to improve the awareness of issues concerning blind and partially sighted people and to develop strategies to solve the problems on a social as well as on political level.

Huffing and puffing for Children’s Book Week 2008
The magical world of children's stories was recently brought to life for twelve members of the Feelix library with live piglets, a big bad wolf and an interactive story telling of the Three Little Pigs.
To the familiar chant of 'and I'll huff and I'll puff...' the children brought the story to life by helping Mr Wolf to blow down a house of straw and then a house of sticks...
