Web Accessibility
Pierre Frederiksen (Bachelor of Computer Science)
Pierre joined the team as a web accessibility consultant in 2006 and has previously worked in the Transcription department of Vision Australia, creating alternative formats such as Braille and DAISY as well as software for their production.
Josh Crawford (Bachelor of Computing)
Josh joined the web accessibility team after working for a number of years as a web designer and with web related technologies in the UK. He has extensive experience working with Photoshop, (X)HTML and CSS and currently has a special interest in Flash video captioning and accessible PDF's.
Print Accessibility Solutions
Tricia Cooney
Tricia has been with Vision Australia since 2005 and provides strategic advice and works daily with information providers to ensure they are communicating effectively with people with a print disability.
Her clients include the Australian Electoral Commission, Victorian Electoral Commission, ANZ Bank, Telstra, Beyond Blue, various federal and state government departments and agencies, local government areas and community organisations. Tricia is passionate about achieving equity in access to information for all Australians and runs workshops and attends forums on accessibility on a regular basis.
Yvonne Diab
Yvonne has been with Vision Australia since 2007 and provides advice to governments and organisations on accessible information solutions.
Her clients include the NSW Electoral Commission, Commonwealth Bank, Australian Taxation Office and Energy Australia in addition to various other federal and state government departments and agencies, local government areas and community organisations.
